PHOTO: Bryce Harper's kids Krew & Brooklyn bond over pizza with Trea Turner's son Beckham on flight to Texas for MLB All-Star Game
Bryce Harper and Trea Turner are two of eight Philadelphia Phillies stars heading to Texas to play the 94th Midsummer Classic for the National League at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Accompanying them were Harper's wife, Kayla and their two kids, Krew, Brooklyn and Kamryn, while Turner was joined by his wife Kristen and son Beckham.
On Sunday, Kayla shared glimpses from their journey. In one snap, Krew, Brooklyn and Beckham can be seen enjoying a slice of pizza on the flight. In another, Kayla was proud to share Harper's billboard outside the Globe Life Field.
"Off to Texas we go," Kayla wrote in her story.
Both Bryce Harper and Trea Turner are on a tear, and it reflected in the Phillies' MLB-best 62-34 record.
Harper is batting .301 with 61 RBIs, 21 home runs and four stolen bases. Meanwhile, Trea Turner has been on a tear in the last few games, recording seven home runs in the last 10 games. On the season, he's hitting .349 with 32 RBIs, 11 home runs and 12 stolen bases.
Apart from Harper and Turner, five pitchers - Zack Wheeler, Ranger Suarez, Matt Strahm, Jeff Hoffman and Cristopher Sanchez - will also represent the Phillies in the All-Star game.
Bryce Harper and Kayla become parents for the third time
The Philadelphia Phillies first baseman and Kayla welcomed their third child, Kamryn Ray Harper, in April this year. Kamryn joins his other two siblings, Brooklyn and Krew, at the Harper household.
Born on April 22, Kamryn weighed six pounds, 11 ounces, according to the couple's Instagram post.
Bryce Harper and Kayla know each other from their high school days, and it culminated with the two tying the knot in December 2016. The couple became parents to Krew Aron (a son born in Aug. 2019) and Brooklyn Elizabeth (a daughter born in Nov. 2020).
The family also has a pet dog, Wrigley, whom they have had since 2015. It's a Maltese-Yorkshire terrier breed.
