Los Angeles Dodgers infielders Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman's wives, Brianna and Chelsea, respectively, enjoyed the first half of Saturday together. The wives of both sluggers posted stories on social media where they mentioned having played a friendly pickleball match.
The duo also enjoyed a healthy breakfast, with Chelsea tagging Haylee Christine, who seems to be also present with the two. Brianna also reshared the story on her feed.
Mookie Betts and Brianna Hammonds started seeing each other while in middle school. The couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Kynlee Ivory Betts, in 2018. They tied the knot in 2021 and welcomed their first son, Kaj Lynn Betts, in April 2023.
On the other hand, Freddie Freeman and Chelsea started dating in June 2011 and exchanged their vows in November 2014. The couple are parents to three sons, namely Charlie (Sept 2016), Brandon John and Maximus Turner, who arrived in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
Mookie Betts' daughter joins Freddie Freeman's son for birthday bash
Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman share great chemistry on and off the field. The same extends to their families and it seems their next generation is following the same path.
Earlier in February of this year, Chelsea re-shared a story from Brianna where her son Brandon and Betts' daughter Kynlee were holding hands with a text that said:
"Happy Birthday Brandon and Maximus," Brianna wrote in her story.
On the field, both Betts and Freeman are leading Dodgers to another good regular season. The Dodgers are 55-35 and lead the NL West, with almost half of the regular season completed. They are also joined by another key acquisition by Dodgers this winter, Shohei Ohtani. The trio have struck fear in the opposing pitchers, with Betts and Ohtani going for NL MVP honors.
Currently, Mookie Betts has been on fractured list since June 17 and it will take 10–12 weeks before he could return to the field.
