PHOTO: Jackson Holliday's wife Chloe shares a glimpse from Tides-Bulls minor league run-fest game
Baltimore Orioles prospect Jackson Holliday resumed his minor league stint with the Triple-A Norfolk Tides a week ago after recovering from right elbow inflammation. Now that he is back, so is his wife Chloe, who was at Harbor Park for Thursday's game between the Tides and Durham Bulls.
During the top of the ninth inning, the Tides' Garrett Cooper hit a grand slam to bring home Holliday, Connor Norby and Coby Mayo. The moment engulfed what ensued in the game, with Holliday's team registering a dominant 17-7 victory over the Bulls. Chloe captured the moment and shared it on social media.
As many as eight runs were scored in the ninth to blow out the Tides. Holliday went 2-4 with two walks while scoring three runs.
While he awaits the second call-up to the majors from the Orioles, baseball's top prospect was overwhelmed the first time.
The infielder went 2-34 (.059) in his first 10 games for the Orioles. More so, he was struck out 18 times in 36 plate appearances, promoting the Orioles to option him back and work on his game.
Holliday is eyeing another chance at the big league after an injury to his arm left him frustrated.
"To have that taste of the big leagues and want to be back up there so badly, then to have something to happen to my arm it's definitely a little bit frustrating," Holliday said [via Fansided].
His stats in minors have been contrasting. He is hitting .274 with an OPS of .920, including eight homers and 29 RBIs. So, it's a matter of time before he translates the same form in the majors.

Another member of the Holliday family who is often spotted cheering on the Orioles' prospects is their pet named Coconut, who accompanies Chloe to Holliday's games at Harbor Park.
A few days after the game, Chloe shared photos with Jackson Holliday and Coconut after the game. In the caption, she wrote:
"Petition to have bark in the park every day !!!!"
Jackson Holliday met Chloe in high school in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They engaged in late 2022 and tied the knot earlier this year.
