Jess and Mike Trout met each other at a Spanish class in high school and went to their prom night together in 2009. While she pursued a bachelor's degree in elementary education and became a teacher, Trout already made a name for himself in baseball. He played in a summer league before committing to play with the East Carolina Pirates in 2009.

Fate had other things for the star slugger, as the LA Angels selected him as the 25th overall pick in the 2009 MLB draft. Trout made his big league debut in 2011 and, since then, he has become the face of the Halos baseball club. Throughout his career after running pro, he continued to date Jessica before getting engaged on June 28, 2016.

More than a year later, the couple exchanged vows in a beautiful wedding affair in Allentown, New Jersey, on Dec. 9, 2017. Talking about the ceremony with Style Magazine, Jessica exclaimed:

"It felt so natural, like we were doing what we were meant to do. Walking down the aisle with my father and then being given away to my husband was incredibly emotional.”

Mike Trout and Jessica have been towering figures in each other's lives, and Jess has been actively present for the righty slugger as he attempts to finish his rehab stint and join the Angels roster by the end of July.

Mike Trout will hope to finish his rehab assignment quickly to get back on the Angels' active roster

Since enduring a meniscus ligament tear on his left knee in April, Mike Trout has undergone surgery. After more than two months on rehab, he looks to be set to get back on the active roster for the second half of the season.

According to MLB.com, Trout will face live hitters at Angels spring training facility on Saturday and Sunday before playing a game with their triple-A affiliates the Salt Lake Bees on Monday.
