Dunne has been enjoying her summers after a few busy months early in the year. She claimed her hands on an NCAA championship after the LSU Tigers won their maiden title in gymnastics. Soon after, Olivia Dunne signed a blockbuster NIL deal with Passes.com, which helped her become the highest-earning collegiate athlete.

She has actively supported Paul Skenes through all of his starts since he made his MLB debut for the Pittsburgh Pirates in May. PNC Park has become her second home now as she cheers on Skenes while he strikes out the best hitters in the league.

Paul won the NCAA College World Series with the LSU Tigers in 2023 when he was just 2. He became the collegiate leader in strikeouts last year and was named the College World Series Most Outstanding Player. His continued excellence on the mound helped him sign with the Pirates in the 2023 MLB draft.

Paul Skenes received a $9.6 million signing from Pittsburgh and quickly went through the minor leagues to make his MLB debut in May. He has not looked back since, as he has ruched to a 4-0 record with a 2.06 ERA, 70 strikeouts, and 1.03 WHIP. The Pirates have won six out of the nine games Skenes started.

Paul Skenes will make his next start on Friday night

Paul Skenes will be back on the mound at PNC Park to make his tenth start of the season on Friday night. His upcoming start will be against Luis Severino and the Mets in the series opener of a four-game series in Pittsburgh.

Expect Olivia Dunne to be in the stands to cheer him on, as she has done so for all of his previous starts at home.

The Pirates are 41-45 for the season and currently hold the fourth spot in a heavily contested NL Central division. They will hope to better their record before the All-Star break.
