Paul Skenes and Olivia Dunne have taken the baseball world by storm as the sport's hot, new power couple. The LSU standout athletes have been in the spotlight since before Skenes was even drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates. However, since the young pitcher has continued to dominate throughout his rookie season, both he and Dunne have found their coverage increase.

The reach of the young athletes was clear, as Olivia Dunne was present during one of the sport's biggest nights. The star LSU gymnast was asked to help present one of the night's awards. She shared the stage with legendary rapper Lil Wayne and Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Wayne, Daniels and Dunne were tasked with presenting the ESPY for the Best Play Award. The trio presented the award to Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson for his incredible play where he caught his own pass. Jackson beat out Jayda Coleman, Anthony Edwards and the Alabama football team.

It was a huge spotlight for Dunne, who continues to rise on social media. The star gymnast has found herself at the forefront of several MLB headlines given her relationship with first-time All-Star Paul Skenes. She can constantly be seen celebrating her boyfriend's success with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Paul Skenes has been making headlines for not only being named to the 2024 MLB All-Star Game but also being named as the National League starting pitcher. Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Luvollo surprised Skenes during an interview to tell him that he would be starting for the NL.

While Skenes is having a tremendous amount of success in his field, the same can be said for Dunne. The star gymnast has enjoyed a successful career at LSU and it will not end just yet. Dunne took to social media to share that she will be returning to LSU for her 5th year, continuing to star for the school's gymnastics team, with the caption:
