After a 38-game hiatus, Trea Turner joined the Philadelphia Phillies for Monday's game against the San Diego Padres at Citizens Bank Park. Upon recovering from the left hamstring strain he suffered in early May, Turner contributed a run in the Phillies 9-2 victory.

Before the game, Kristen Turner picked Instagram to support her husband and shared Turner’s comeback news on her story.

Trea and Kristen dated for six years before exchanging vows in 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, Beckham Dash Turner, in 2021, and their second son, Tatum Trea Turner, in 2023.

The Phillies sent Johan Rojas to Triple-A Lehigh Valley to make room for Turner on the roster.

So far this season, Turner has played 34 games, scoring 28 runs, nine RBIs, and two home runs while batting .345. In his last five games, he has gone 8-for-21 with five runs.

Trea Turner and wife, Kristen, went for a London trip together

On June 8th and 9th, the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets flew to London City for a two-game “London Series” as part of the MLB tour program.

After the first game, Turner and his wife, Kristen, took a brief tour of some of the iconic London landmarks.

The sightseeing list included the famous London Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and many more, where the duo captured themselves in photos to remember the sweet London trip.

The Phillies won the first game 7-2 but lost the second game 6-5 to the Mets.

Meanwhile, Trea Turner came along with the Philly squad despite being on the injured list. He took some groundballs and was seen doing a little live batting practice. However, he didn’t participate in the game.

As of Tuesday, the Phillies lead the National League with a 48-24 season record. The Dodgers (45-29) are the closest to them from the NL side.
