PICTURE: Hollywood superstar Scarlett Johansson wearing cap supporting 'The Met' for Mets vs Dodgers NLCS Game goes viral

The ongoing NLCS showdown between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Mets has brought in many A-listers at Citi Field, including Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson. Known for her role "Black Widow" in Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actress was in attendance to watch NLCS Game 4 at Citi Field on Friday.

While Johansson, who is from New York, is a Yankees fan, her husband, Colin Jost, who grew up in Staten Island, supports the Mets. The couple were spotted in one of the Citi Field suits, but Johansson's choice of baseball cap grabbed attention.

While Jost wore a Mets cap, Scarlett Johansson found a hilarious cap, written "The Met," to sport with her game-day outfit.

Apart from Colin Jost and Scarlett Johansson, many other celebrities attended the games at Citi Field. They include five-time NBA champion Magic Johnson (wearing Dodgers attire), 1986 World Series champion Dwight Gooden and HoFer Joe Torre.

Scarlett Johansson is an out-and-out Yankees fan, but Colin Jost would rather see Red Sox beat the Yanks

The Johansson-Jost home has an in-home rivalry, as with many New York baseball fans, which remains divided between the Yankees and the Mets.

With Yankees playing ALCS away in Cleveland, Jost might have had it difficult to convince Johansson to step foot in Citi Field.

Scarlett Johansson has always been a big baseball fan, growing up as a fan girl over former New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter. She had his rookie baseball card in her wallet, as she mentioned in an interview with Parade. However, her rivalry with her husband, always makes up for a "sore subject."

“It’s a sore subject,” she said of her baseball discussion with Jost. “He just told me that he’d rather see the [Boston] Red Sox win than the Yankees win. Like, what?! I said I was just going to ignore that.”

As for the ongoing pennat series in both the National and American League, the Dodgers and the Yankees are almost on the brink of entering the World Series. The Dodgers lead the best of seven series 3-2, while the Yankees lead their series 3-1.
