"Real s****y sportsmanship"; "Beating the horse to death": Fans react as Miguel Rojas throws shade at Yankees following World Series victory

Miguel Rojas and the Los Angeles Dodgers are riding a high after capturing the 2024 World Series title. It is the eighth WS title the team has won during their 141 seasons.

L.A. had to get through the San Diego Padres, the New York Mets, and then the New York Yankees. Those are three tough teams, but according to Rojas, one team stood out more than the others.

During a recent episode of "Baseball Today" with Chris Rose, Rojas detailed the difficulties throughout the different series. He mentioned that the series with the Padres was much more difficult than the Yankees' series.

Many fans were not too thrilled to hear the slugger talking like this. They were not too thrilled hearing Rojas throw shade at the Bronx Bombers as he did.

"This is real s****y sportsmanship at this point" one fan posted.
"Man they're really beating the horse to death huh?" said another.
"He's not wrong but I think we get the message now" said another.

Miguel Rojas has not been the only Dodgers player throwing some shade at the Yankees. Alex Vesia also mentioned how the preparation for the Padres made the Yankees' matchup a bit easier.

"The way Rojas carries himself is embarrassing" said another.
"Trashing them after the fact is embarrassing" said another.
"Hey, how about you go enjoy your World Series win and not crap on the team you beat? Especially considering your less than stellar rep among your former teammates" said another.

Miguel Rojas firing shots at Yankees could be tied to Jazz Chisholm's comments earlier in the year

Earlier this year, Jazz Chisholm Jr. sat down for an interview on "The Pivot" Podcast. During the interview, he sent some shots at who many presume was Miguel Rojas.

""You can't be a team leader when you've got guys that's been in the clubhouse that's been in there nine or 10 years even though they suck" said Chisholm.

Chisholm then went on to say that Rojas was not a "good person." Rojas defended himself on "The Chris Rose Rotation", stating that the comments offended him.

Now with Chisholm a member of the Yankees, Rojas gets the last laugh. It will be interesting to see if this forms a rivalry between the two players moving forward.
