Red Sox fan draws heat from New York Yankees fans after making a solo scene in the Bronx: "Bro tried to take on the entire city of New York"

After outscoring the San Francisco Giants by a series score of 16-7 in their first string of contests in 2023, the New York Yankees are again making their case as one of the strongest teams around.

However, sometimes being at the top comes with consequences. Fan shenanigans in the outfield bleachers at Yankee Stadium can be fun, entertaining, shocking and even dangerous.

However, during their opening series against the Giants, a fan of a divisional rival was trying to make his name heard and do all he could to promote his team, who were playing simultanously elsewhere.

"Trolling at a Yankees-Giants game while the Red Sox are literally playing at that time is wild" - Talkin' Yanks

A video has emerged of a fearless Boston Red Sox fan during the Yankees-Giants game on April 1. Despite what he's likely been told about the risks of visiting fans, that did not stop him from proudly displaying his team colors.

Clearly outnumbered, the hordes of New York Yankees fans that surrounded the lone fan soon fell into a "F*ck the Red Sox chant", a familiar and beloved refrain in the Bronx.

@TalkinYanks I'm guessing he was kicked out for intoxication. Look at how he stumbled up the stairs with the beer in his hand.

The fan, who may or may not have been intoxicated, was escorted out by the ushers. As he walked up to the concourse, no shortage of profanity was directed his way.

New York Yankees fans, although not supportive, have to respect the Red Sox fan. Some have even given him props to "take on the entire city of New York."

To add an extra element of passion to the already emotional video, the Boston Red Sox were engaged in a game with the Baltimore Orioles at the exact same time. The Sox captured a scintillating 9-8 win off of a home run from Adam Duvall after O's left fielder Ryan McKenna made a fateful error in the ninth inning.

Despite the fan's best efforts at distraction, the Yankees also won the game over the San Francisco Giants by a score of 6-0.

Kudos to the wayward Sox fan for his facing down New York Yankees fans

The Red Sox-Yankees rivalry is the most storied in baseball. As such, fans of these two teams have been known to push their passion to the limits. Although the fan appears to have gotten out of the game safely, it could have winded up very differently for this Boston Red Sox fan who found himself deep behind enemy lines.
