Ronald Acuna Jr.'s wife Maria Laborde makes feelings known after Braves superstar reacts to their romantic vacation in Italy
With another long and grueling baseball season done and dusted, Ronald Acuna Jr. and his better half, Maria Laborde, are making full use of the time on their hands. On Tuesday, Laborde took to Instagram to post a snap from their trip to Europe, which included a romantic evening in Rome with the iconic Colosseum in the background.
"Rome with you π€" Laborde captioned in Spanish.
Acuna commented on the post with a loving message.
"My πΈπ»π¦β€οΈ," Acuna wrote.
"I love youπ," Laborde replied.
The couple tied the knot in August 2023, in a private ceremony in Los Angeles, after reportedly dating for over three years. They have two sons together, Ronald Daniel and Jamal.

As part of their trip to Europe, the couple enjoyed the sights and sounds of Paris, before traveling to Italy, as seen on Laborde's Instagram post from Nov. 25.
"Dancing with the stars β¨," Laborde captioned.
On the field, the 2024 season was one to forget for the Atlanta Braves outfielder, as a knee injury sustained against the Pittsburgh Pirates in May forced him to miss a huge chunk of the season.
The Braves offense was less potent without the 2023 NL MVP, which led to them missing out on the NL East division title for the first time since 2018. Although they made it to the postseason, the San Diego Padres made light work of their challenge, eliminating them at the first hurdle.
For now, Ronald Acuna Jr. can afford to focus on spending plenty of time with his loved ones, before focusing again on baseball in the new year, with spring training set to begin in early February. Braves fans will be looking forward to the 2025 season, with their Venezuelan superstar set to make his much-anticipated return to the diamond.
