Ryan Weathers' wife Thayer praises husband's stellar performance with career-high ten strikeouts against Giants
Marlins starting pitcher Ryan Weathers impressed with his latest outing against the SF Giants at Loan Depot Park, as he raked in a career-high number of strikeouts during the Marlins win on Tuesday.
His wife, Thayer Hall Weathers, showcased full support and voiced her appreciation for his career-high strikeout numbers during the clash in Miami. She posted a story on her Instagram handle congratulating her husband on the feat achieved.

Ryan Weathers is the son of David Weathers, a former big league pitcher who won the 1996 World Series with the New York Yankees.
Just like his father, he showcased an affinity for pitching from an early age and was aptly rewarded for his hard work when he was selected as the seventh overall pick in the 2018 MLB draft by the San Diego Padres. Ryan played for the Vanderbilt Commodores during his collegiate baseball career.
Ryan Weathers met his now-wife, Thayer Hall, many years ago before their relationship blossomed into a strong bond. After some years in their romantic relationship, Ryan proposed to Thayer, and the duo got engaged.
Ryan and Thayer exchanged vows in a beautiful wedding affair at Howe Farms Wedding and Event Venue in Georgetown, Tennessee, on November 6, 2022. The couple rejoiced during the event, with all their friends and family members in attendance.
Ryan Weathers has been a glimmer of hope for an injury-ridden Marlins bullpen
The 24-year-old is 2-1 in four starts this season for the Marlins. He raked in back-to-back wins against the NY Yankees and the SF Giants in his last two outings. Ryan Weathers has a 2.70 ERA this season and has struck out 22 batters in 20 innings pitched so far in 2024.
His performances on the mound are all the more valuable for a misfiring Miami Marlins roster because their bullpen is heavily depleted and three of their first-choice starters are on the injury list.
Sandy Alcantara and Eury Perez are both on a 60-day IL, while Braxton Garrett was put on a 15-day IL on April 15. Besides starting to pitch, three relief pitchers are on the injury list, with Huascar Brazoban ruled out for the campaign.
