Sabrina Carpenter concert jersey 'curse' has fans making demands for NLDS Dodgers vs Padres clash: "Could she wear an LA jersey"
American singer Sabrina Carpenter has grabbed the attention of the sports world for all the wrong reasons. She is on her tour, and fans say her outfit appearances have sporting predictions related to them.
Interestingly, after Carpenter rocked the Phillies jersey during her Short n' Sweet Tour concert at Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday, the Philadelphia-based team would go on to lose Game 4 and the ALDS series to the underdogs, the New York Mets.
Ahead of the NHL opener, the singer wore the jersey of the Toronto Maple Leafs, who would go on to drop their season opener against the Montreal Canadiens.
Before the all-important NLDS Game 5 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres, the alleged jersey curse will be on everyone's watch. After all, the singer is set to hit the stage in Montreal in continuation of her tour at 7 p.m. ET, three hours before the NLDS decider on Friday.
With that in focus, fans of both teams are asking Sabrina Carpenter to wear the jersey of their opponents.
"Sabrina wear this tomorrow," one fan commented.
"Could she wear an LA Dodgers jersey before tomorrow night?" one fan asked.
"There are a couple of Jerseys I need her to wear real quick…" another posted.
However, one fan seems to think otherwise.
"The phillies one had nothing to do with her they were just basically the NL version of the orioles where they got so far ahead before the asb that it was the only reason they even made the playoffs. Straight dog water after all-star. The others i have no comment on," the user wrote.

Dodgers should lose if Sabrina Carpenter's curse works
Going by the fan theory of teams losing when Sabrina Carpenter dons a sports jersey, Padres fans need to look back around June 2014 when the singer graced the LA Dodgers jersey and appeared at the ballpark along with Danielle Fishel and Rowan Blanchard.
So assuming this turns out to be true, the Dodgers could be looking for another NLDS exit this year.
