Sabrina Carpenter rocks Phillies jersey during her 'Short n' Sweet' Tour concert in Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Phillies received warm support from famous singer Sabrina Carpenter, who rocked the team's jersey during her Short n' Sweet Tour concert at Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday.
The Phillies are in the middle of intense faceoffs with the New York Mets in the ongoing NLDS, which is tied 2-1 in favor of the latter. They aim to go deep in the postseason this season.
Jomboy Media shared the attire Carpenter had on for her sold-out concert on Tuesday while the Phillies were at Citi Field.
The Phillies lost Game 3 against the Mets to go down 2-1 in best-of-five series. They will be at the barrel of elimination when they step on the Citi Field in Game 4 on Wednesday.
As for Sabrina Carpenter's sixth studio LP, "Short n’ Sweet," it has once again topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart after spending one week under No. 2 behind Travis Scott’s "Days Before Rodeo." The album spent another week at No. 3 under Future’s "Mixtape Pluto" and Chappell Roan’s "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess."
MLB broadcaster gets dared by wife to use Sabrina Carpenter's lyrics on air
In September, former MLB pitcher and Oakland Athletics announcer Dallas Braden was dared by his wife, Meg Braden, to use lyrics from Sabrina Carpenter's song "Please, Please, Please" on air.
During a game against the Seattle Mariners, Braden completed the dare on air, as he said:
"I tell you, heartbreak is one thing, my ego's another."
Joining him on this dare was his broadcasting partner, Chris Caray, who said:
"So the A's are saying, please don't embarrass me."
This wasn't the only time Meg Braden dared her husband to quote something on live broadcast. She previously shared a video on social media, where she dared Braden to quote Jools Lebron's viral TikTok.
Braden completed the dare, saying the A's had a "very demure, mindful approach" to the game.
