The Seattle Mariners were able to pick up a 4-3 win over the Boston Red Sox in a game that was pretty competitive throughout. Seattle looked like it was going to cruise to an easy win after just two innings, but the Red Sox were able to battle back.
After the Mariners scored two runs in the top of the first innings, Alex Bregman responded with a solo home run in the bottom of the frame. Seattle would then add two more runs in the top of the second inning to make the score 4-1.
Bregman had another RBI for the Red Sox in the third inning, and Omar Narvaez set the final score with a solo home run in the top of the 8th inning. Mitch Garver was the offensive star for the Mariners as he had both RBIs.
