"See you at the K" - Bobby Witt Jr.'s fiancee Maggie Black reacts to Royals' ALDS Game 2 win over Yankees

Bobby Witt Jr. and the Kansas City Royals bounced back from their narrow loss in Game 1 of the ALDS with an impressive 4-2 win on Monday at Yankee Stadium to tie the series.

American League MVP candidate Bobby Witt Jr.'s fiance Maggie Black reacted to the team's win, sharing a clip of Witt Jr. in her Instagram story.

The Royals head back to the Kauffman Stadium to host the Yankees for the next two games.

Bobby Witt Jr. and Maggie Black have known each other since their high school days at Colleyville Heritage. They started dating then and the couple has shared several pictures throughout their dating journey.

The Royals shortstop proposed to his then-longtime girlfriend ahead of last year's Christmas Eve and got engaged in January 2024. Maggie is a certified personal trainer according to her bio after pursuing a B.S.c in Health and Exercise Science.

Much like his fiancee, Witt Jr. is excited for the upcoming two games at the Kauffman Stadium following Monday's come from behind win at Yankee Stadium.

"Going back home is going to be a lot of fun," Witt Jr. said. "Get the boys right. Getting hot at the right time. It's going to be a lot of fun, it's going to be electric. We are really looking forward to this."

Apart from being an AL MVP contender, Bobby Witt Jr.'s second consecutive 30-30 season, a first in MLB history, sees him competing for the Hank Aaron Award. The Royals shortstop was announced as the finalist for the prestigious award, competing against the Yankees duo of Aaron Judge and Juan Soto.
