Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge team up for dual autograph card featuring event-worn memorabilia from All-Star Game

Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani are two of the faces of baseball. They both have accomplished things that no other player in their era has and are likely Hall of Famers. For the first time this year, they were on opposite sides of the All-Star Game, but Topps brought them together for a special card that features autographs and more.

Baseball cards are a popular collectible among MLB fans, and this one may be a must-add to anyone's collection. Not only is it one of the rare cards to feature two historic stars together, but it's autographed and contains pieces of their game-worn jerseys.

The two players are among the best to ever play, and now there's a collectible to commemorate that fact and give fans something incredible to try and get their hands on. The autographs have been certified, so it's a legitimate card that could one day be worth a lot of money.

Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge no longer have to compete for MVP

In 2022, Aaron Judge needed an absolutely historic season, including an AL-record 62 home runs, to win MVP over Shohei Ohtani. The New York Yankees star missed some time in 2023 but was likely on his way to another historic year and an epic showdown with 2023 winner Ohtani once again.

This year, the two players are once again putting up historic numbers. Ohtani stole 50 bases and hit 50 home runs, which no one had done before. Judge's 219 wRC+ was the highest since 1957 excluding Barry Bonds.

Fortunately, neither has to worry about the other making life difficult in terms of acquiring accolades. Ohtani's move to the NL with the Los Angeles Dodgers makes sure that they won't compete directly with one another for a long time.

It could have been interesting to see how voters treated the head-to-head race between them this year. But as things stands, Judge is -4000 to win the AL award over Bobby Witt Jr., while Ohtani is -2500 to win the award in the National League.
