One of the most controversial umpires, Angel Hernandez was known for his wrong calls. However, it turns out that the trend continues in his absence. On Sunday, the Phillies and Orioles had an exciting showdown, but manager Rob Thomson was ejected after arguing with the umpire for reversing a hit-by-pitch call on Garrett Stubs.
Home plate umpire Mike Estabrook tossed Thomson for arguing about the decision. Estabrook initially stated that Stubbs was hit-by-pitch. However, the decision was reversed since his foot was said to be out of the batter's box.
Reacting to the incident, MLB fans took to social media to troll the umpires for their call.

MLB hitters remain frustrated according to Rob Thomson
The Phillies manager stated that several MLB hitters were frustrated with the situation. Thomson said that it affects the game, but it's important to overcome such situations.
“You're telling me that from 200 feet or however far it is, you can tell if a ball hits a foot or not?” Thomson said after the game. “So they told me, 'Well, use your challenge.' But I said, 'You already awarded him first base, why don't you make them use their challenge?' That was it really.”
He further said that the base umpires were unable to see Stubbs' foot from a far distance. The Phillies lost the series against their AL East rival. Thomson and his team will take on the San Diego Padres in the next series.
