Top MLB DFS Picks Today: DraftKings and FanDuel ft. Tarik Skubal, Bryce Harper & more | September 6

Most MLB teams should be back on the schedule today (barring rainouts), so Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) is a little bit easier than it was yesterday. There are a few aces on the mound and a lot of great hitters available. Here's who you need to choose for your lineup in a classic 12-game slate.

Top Pitchers for MLB DFS September 6

Tarik Skubal ($10200 on DraftKings, $12000 in FanDuel)

Tarik Skubal is probably going to win the American League Cy Young Award. Any time he's starting, he should be in DFS lineups. This season, the Detroit Tigers ace is 16-4 with a 2.51 ERA, 201 strikeouts, and a 0.93 WHIP.

Zack Wheeler ($10000 on DraftKings, $11500 on FanDuel)

Zack Wheeler is in the middle of another terrific season. The Philadelphia Phillies ace is 13-6 with a 2.63 ERA, 183 strikeouts, and a 0.98 WHIP. Those are exceptional numbers that demand a DFS start.

Kevin Gausman ($8000 on DraftKings, $9400 on FanDuel)

Kevin Gausman hasn't had the season that was expected of him, but he's in line for a decent start today against the Atlanta Braves. The Toronto Blue Jays starter also has 12 wins and 145 strikeouts this year, so he is a good pick.

Top Hitters for MLB DFS September 6

Jose Ramirez ($6400 on DraftKings, $4000 on FanDuel)

Jose Ramirez is once again having an incredible season. The Cleveland Guardians star is batting .273 with 34 home runs, 106 RBI (second-most in baseball) and a .853 OPS. Those are numbers you shouldn't pass up today.

Bryce Harper ($5400 on DraftKings, $3600 on FanDuel)

Bryce Harper is having another quality season with the Philadelphia Phillies. The first baseman is hitting .280 with 26 home runs, 76 RBI, and a .889 OPS in 124 games this year.

Shohei Ohtani ($7000 on DraftKings, $5000 on FanDuel)

Shohei Ohtani shouldn't be a debate for DFS lineups at this point. He's bordering on a 50-homer, 50-steal season and is hitting .290 with 99 RBI. The Los Angeles Dodgers star should be picked no matter the cost.

Budget picks for MLB DFS September 6

Tommy Edman ($3700 on DraftKings, $2700 on FanDuel)

Tommy Edman has seven hits in the last week and is four for 16 in September. The Los Angeles Dodgers infielder is slowly turning it around, and you can reap the benefits of that today for cheap.

Wyatt Langford ($4000 on DraftKings, $3100 on FanDuel)

Wyatt Langford hasn't had the best rookie season this year, however, he's been much better of late. He has eight hits in the month of September in just 20 at-bats. Four of them were extra-base hits, so he's in good shape right now.

Nathaniel Lowe ($3600 on DraftKings, $2700 on FanDuel)

Nathaniel Lowe is six for 16 in September and has a .729 OPS for the season. It's hard to find good hitters for such a low price in DFS, but Lowe represents a good player on a budget.
