Travis Scott drops a 1-word reaction to Alex Bregman's wife Reagan celebrating Thanksgiving amid star third baseman's free agency
Famous rapper and Houston native Travis Scott makes sure to keep tabs on key Astros players like Alex Bregman, who is currently a free agent. Scott who happens to be a big Astros fan, reacted to the Bregman family's Thanksgiving post.
On Friday, Bregman's wife Reagan posted a Thanksgiving greeting with a photo of her family, which includes Alex and their two-year-old son Knox. She is also expecting another boy in 2025.
"happy Thanksgiving from our fam to yours 💌🦃🤎🍂" Reagan wrote in the caption.
Reacting to the post, Scott had a one-word reaction:
"GANG"
The reaction from Travis Scott isn't surprising since he would like to have Alex Bregman return to the Astros on another contract. The third baseman has played nine seasons for the Astros and has helped the club win two World Series titles.
At the moment, while both the Astros and Bregman's agent Scott Boras are at the negotiation table, no one seems to be budging. While the Astros have reported to have offered a contract close to $156 million, the third baseman is eyeing a contract worth over $200 in this free agency.
Houston fans, including Scott, are hoping both parties come together and end this free agency soon.
Travis Scott once gifted Alex Bregman and Astros gifts high-end sneakers upon winning the World Series
Travis Scott was one of the happiest Houston fans when the club beat the Philadelphia Phillies to win the World Series in 2022. The rapper gifted the Astros players and coaching staff with pairs of his Air Jordan 1 Low Olive sneakers.
"You make the city of Houston proud in playing the greatest game on Earth at the highest level," Scott said of Astros. "Let's win another one."
The Astros posted the reaction of players upon receiving high-worth sneakers in an Instagram post. Alex Bregman was seen wearing a pair of Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High Mocha sneakers that day while getting his hands on the new shoes.
"Oh my God," he said in a video. "Trav, thank you. These are incredible."
For the Astros, the 2024 season ended on a disappointing note as they could not get through the Detroit Tigers in the Wild Card round.
