Trea Turner's wife Kristen makes feelings known about celebrating Christmas month with Phillies star and their kids

Shortstop Trea Turner had a strong 2024 season, finishing the campaign with a .295 batting average, 21 home runs and 62 RBIs. A constant pillar of support for the three-time All-Star all season was his wife, Kristen, who was a regular at Citizens Bank Park.

On Friday, Kristen Turner took to Instagram to post an adorable family photo, featuring the Philadelphia Phillies star and their two children.

According to reports, Trea Turner first crossed paths with his future wife while both were student-athletes at the North Carolina State University.

The couple announced their engagement in 2017, going on to tie the knot the following year. The pair currently have two sons, Beckham and Tatum, along with a third child on the way, a daughter.

On the field, despite a great regular season, it was a story of postseason heartbreak again for the Phillies as they were eliminated by a spirited New York Mets in the NLDS.

On an individual level, though, Turner showcased remarkable resilience, coming back firing on all cylinders after dealing with a hamstring injury sustained in May that kept him out of action for more than six weeks.

The 31-year-old's blistering pace, be it as a base runner or in defensive situations, was a key boost for the Phillies in the second half of the season, as they ended the Atlanta Braves' monopoly in the NL East, winning the division for the first time since 2011.

For now, Turner can afford to take his mind off the field, focussing instead on spending plenty of time with his wife and kids. The focus shifts back to baseball in the new year, with spring training set to begin in February.

Just like the players themselves, fans will also keenly be looking forward to the upcoming season, as Trea Turner and Co. look to bring a World Series title to the city of brotherly love for the first time since 2008.
