Trevor Bauer's agent Rachel Luba joins his parents in celebration as ex-Dodgers pitcher lifts LMB championship trophy for Diablos
Former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer has won the LMB championship trophy with the Diablos Rojos del Mexico. His agent Rachel Luba couldn't be happier with her client's success after a difficult few years in his professional career.
Luba shared some on-field moments with Bauer and his family as the Red Devils of Mexico won their 17th championship in franchise history. Luba shared several images on Instagram and wrote in the caption:
"Champagne-soaked hair and couldn’t be happier. The celebrating has just begun! Haven’t had time to go through all the pix, but here’s a start to the madness! FELICIDADES TO THE CHAMPIONS OF MEXICO, @diablosrojosmx!"
The Diablos Rojos del Mexico made easy work of the North Zone champions, the Sultanes de Monterrey, in the best-of-seven LMB championship series. Trevor Bauer started and won Game 3 of the series.
Bauer pitched six immaculate innings, giving up four hits and also striking out four to help the Red Devils secure a shutout victory. The 2-0 win was Bauer's third victory of the postseason.
With the championship victory, Trevor Bauer closed off a dominant year in the Mexican baseball league. He was originally contracted for six starts but his impressive performances led the front office to extend his contract until the end of the season. The move paid off for the organization in the end.

Trevor Bauer finished the season with 10 victories, a league-leading 120 strikeouts and a 2.48 ERA. He produced a historic night against the Guerreros de Oaxaca on June 21, setting an LMB single-game strikeout record of 19 batters in 8.2 innings pitched.
