Trevor Bauer's agent Rachel Luba shares frame with ex-Dodgers pitcher during Euro trip adventure
After spending time in Liga Mexicana de BĂ©isbol or LMB, Mexico's top baseball league, Trevor Bauer and agent Rachel Luba have embarked on an adventure across the pond to Europe.
On Tuesday, the duo, through Luba's Instagram page, shared photos of them in Prague. The capital of Czechia, Prague is considered one of the biggest tourist attractions in Europe.
Luba shared more photos of Bauer together with a friend captioned, "Euro squad." The former MLB pitcher and his agent continue to stroll and seek the sights of the historic city.
Luba was originally a gymnast in the UCLA program before transitioning to the baseball world and founding the MLB's first female-owned agency, Luba Sports. At the moment, her biggest client is Trevor Bauer.
Trevor Bauer's first year in Mexico
After several controversies in MLB, Trevor Bauer appeared in his first professional game away from the majors in Japan's NPB as a part of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. His stint in the East would be brief but merited a selection in the NPB All-Star Game.
This season, the pitcher transferred to LMB's Diablos Rojos del Mexico. In 14 games for the Diablos, Bauer tallied a 10-0 record with an ERA of 2.48 and a league-best 120 strikeouts.
Bauer had injury concerns throughout the season, including a Gullain-Barre syndrome diagnosis. The hurler was out during the first round of the LMB postseason against the Pericos de Puebla. He returned during the south zone series against the Leones de Yucatan.
The 33-year-old pitcher's season concluded with a victory in the Serie Del Rey, Mexico's equivalent to the World Series. After getting past Puebla and Yucatan, the Diablos edged out Oaxaca in the southern championship series before sweeping Sultanes de Monterrey in the finale.
After a sensational performance in the playoffs that saw Bauer post a 1.67 ERA with 32 strikeouts across 27 innings, the league named the pitcher the Mexican League Pitcher of the Year.
At the time of writing, neither Bauer nor his agent Luba has announced details of the pitcher's next destination.
