"Victory is mine" - Paul Skenes' girlfriend Olivia Dunne excited as she receives WWE legacy custom belt at Fanatics Fest
Paul Skenes' girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, was present on the last day of Fanatics Fest in New York on Saturday. There, she was honored by WWE with a legacy LSU championship wrestling belt. She was a member of the school's gymnastics team that won its first NCAA championship in April.
A video of her reaction upon receiving the title was uploaded on social media by WWE, which, along with Fanatics, bestowed the title on her. Dunne was excited, honored and full of pride while flaunting the belt.
"I'm wearing that to the gymnastics," Dunne said. "Victory is mine. This is the best. This is insane. You said the WWE? (Yep). Is this like an official, like ... (Yeah), official LSU license. It's cool."
On Saturday, Olivia Dunne imitated her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates rookie Paul Skenes, at Fanatics Fest. She wore his uniform as well as a mustache like him and pitched, following it up with an acrobatic move before setting for a folded hands-upstanding pose.
"Not Dunne yet": Olivia Dunne to return LSU for her final year
Those wanting Olivia Dunne to spend one more year in college and represent the Tigers got their wishes fulfilled when the social media star shared a video online to announce her return for her fifth and final year at LSU.
"These past four years have changed my life. There’s something about putting on a purple and gold leotard," Dunne said. "There’s something about competing in front of 13,000 screaming Tiger fans. There’s something about being pushed by your coaches to do your very best. And there’s something about being part of a team that made school history.
"No matter how many opportunities come my way off the mat, there’s just something about LSU. And that’s why I’m here to say, I’m not Dunne yet. Here’s to Year Five, baby."
For Olivia Dunne, the year couldn't have been any better. Winning her first NCAA title, signing multiple NIL deals (Passes and Nautica), attending her boyfriend Paul Skenes' debut at PNC Park and featuring in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's 60th anniversary issue, the LSU gymnast continues to build her legacy both on and off the gymnastics mat.
