Dodgers backstop Will Smith's wife Cara Martinell Smith celebrated her 31st birthday on Friday. She has been a loving mother to the couple's two kids and the biggest supporter of the catcher both on and off the field. Besides this, she has also struck up a great camaraderie with the partners of other Dodgers ballplayers since Will has been a part of the organization since the 2019 season.
Wives of Will Smith's Dodgers teammates, Chris Taylor (Mary Keller Taylor), Alex Vesia (Kayla Vesia), and Walker Buehler (McKenzie Buehler) posted heartfelt notes, wishing Cara on the eve of her birthday on Dec. 20. The captions from the various social media stories read:

Will Smith won the second World Series with LA Dodgers in 2024. His wife Cara and their two girls, Charlotte Ann and Layton Elizabeth, joined the backstop aboard the bus during the grand victory parade in Los Angeles. Smith had agreed to a ten-year, $140 million contract extension ahead of the 2024 MLB season which will quintessentially make him a Dodger for life.

After LAD's 2024 Fall Classic triumph, Will Smith's wife Cara took to social media to pen down a heartfelt note for the partners of Smith's fellow teammates alongside an array of group photos from the season. The caption on the post read:
"From opening day until the very end of postseason… here are the ladies behind the boys in blue!! New faces and old faces each year, we all step up for each other in ways that only we know how!"
Smith capped off an incredible season in LA with a .248 batting average, 20 home runs, 75 RBIs and .760 OPS, earning a second All-Star nod and also getting named on the All-MLB second team.
