WATCH: Aaron Judge gifts Knicks All-Star Jalen Brunson autographed Jordan cleats, acknowledges greatness with a personalized message

Yankees captain Aaron Judge linked up with New York Knicks shooting guard Jalen Brunson inside the Yankee Stadium ahead of the Subway Series finale against the NY Mets on Wednesday.

Judge took some time out between the batting practice to not just meet with Brunson but also with Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe. Here's the video:

Jalen Milroe gave Aaron Judge a customised No. 99 Crimson Tide jersey. Judge, meanwhile, gave away a pair of his autographed Jordan cleats to Jalen Brunson. He also wrote a personalized message for the NBA All-Star, acknowledging his rise in basketball:

"To Jalen - Keep running the city! from '22 AL MVP"

The link-up between thw two sporting stars came in the wake of the Yankees attempting to avoid a Subway series sweep against the NY Mets for the second time this season.

A lacklustre Bronx Bombers unit lost Game 1 3-2 on Tuesday night, as the Yanks offense couldn't heat up to produce some credible hits during the gameday.

Aaron Judge drew four walks in five at-bats in game 1, as one RBI each from Gleyber Torres and Alex Verdugo were the only two runs that the frail Yankees unit could register in a disappointing outing.

The Mets showcased their class against Gerrit Cole and the Bronx Bombers on Wednesday night. The Mets offense overpowered Cole for the second time this season.

Francisco Lindor was the orchestrator of the rampage against the Yanks as Pete Alonso, Tyrone Taylor and Mark Vientos played amazing second fiddle in a 12-3 Subway series sweep win on Wednesday night.

Aaron Judge went 0 for 3 in Game 2, while the rest of the hitters also struggled to get their bats going. Judge has been the torchbearer for the Yanks offense this season, with offseason signing Juan Soto playing an amazing second fiddle to the 2022 AL MVP.

The Yankees next hit the road for six games for their series against the Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies starting Friday.
