WATCH: Alex Rodriguez's girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro embraces 'active rest day' with relaxing water yoga in swimming pool
On Sunday, Alex Rodriguez's girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro posted a video of her active rest day routine on her Instagram page. In the video, Jaclyn Cordeiro can be seen engaging in light physical activities and yoga in a swimming pool on a sunny day, under a bright blue sky.
Jaclyn Cordeiro and former New York Yankees player, Alex Rodriguez have been in a relationship since 2022. Cordeiro, a life coach and fitness instructor of Canadian descent describes her mission on her Instagram bio as, helping women '"become the best versions of themselves."
Jaclyn Cordeiro has a significant Instagram following and frequently shares fitness content on her account.
The video starts with the following text on screen:
“Sunday self-care, Active Rest Day. Take a minute to make a moment. 10 minute water Yoga. Try to turn off the outside world. 2 min stretch, use your breath to slow down movement”
After showing the names of the yoga poses, each to be held for 30 seconds, the clip ends with a motivational message:
“Invest equally into your mind, your body, your soul. Add passive training into your routine. Celebrate the little wins along the way. ”
Alex Rodriguez and his partner officially announced their relationship on Instagram in December 2022. Rodriguez shared a family picture featuring himself alongside Cordeiro and his two daughters, Natasha and Ella.
However, the couple was first romantically linked in October that year according to some reports. Like Rodriguez, Jaclyn Cordeiro is also a parent of two daughters, Bella and Savanah.

Last week, Alex Rodriguez and Jaclyn Cordeiro, attended the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. The pair also explored an automobile expo, where Cordeiro shared a clip of some supercars on Instagram.
Some time ago, Rodriguez followed a fitness program designed by Jaclyn Cordeiro which helping him shed some extra weight. Discussing it with The New York Post in April, he said:
"Just being consistent, which is what I’ve learned from her, has been very helpful. I’ve been training seven days a week. I’ve eliminated a lot of the steak. I was a big steak eater. I used to eat steak probably eight out of 10 days, and now only one or two [days] out of 10 days."
The former New York Yankee is a 14-time All-Star, a 10-time Silver Slugger Award winner, and won the World Series in 2009.
