WATCH: Alex Rodriguez signs baseball and indulges in amazing conversation with passionate Yankees fan

New York Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez shared a special moment with a passionate fan (Tommy) outside Yankee Stadium and shared the video on his social media handle. He also signed a baseball for him and could be heard saying:

"Hey kiddo, long time my friend, I missed you. He's [Tommy] really the epitome of what Yankees fans are all about. They love their players, they are very smart fans, they are loyal as heck and this guy is the epitome of a great fan and a great human being. Love you bro, miss you, I will see you soon."

The narrated captions inside the video read as follow:

"Spotted a very special fan in the crowd outside Yankees stadium."
"I have known Tommy for over 15 years ... He has been one of the most loyal Yankees fans I have ever met."
"After every game I would see Tommy on the bridge and always stop and talk to him about the game."
"He always makes me laugh with his incredible impressions."

After Alex Rodriguez praised Tommy for his loyalty toward the Yankees, the fan made A-Rod laugh by imitating two legendary Yankees broadcasters, Michael Kay and John Sterling. The two then shook hands and walked their separate ways.

Alex Rodriguez attended the Old Timer's Day at Yankee Stadium in August

Alex Rodriguez made his maiden Old Timer's Day appearance ahead of game 2 between the Yankees and Colorado Rockies inside Yankee Stadium on August 24.

He was joined by Yankees legends from the '09 World Series-winning roster like Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Andy Pettitte, CC Sabathia, and Jorge Posada. One of the journalists asked Rodriguez what his thoughts were about a possible induction in the Yankee Stadium's Monument Park in the future.

Alex Rodriguez replied:

"I would love to be in, but obviously that’s not my decision. I honor everything about the New York Yankees. It would be an honor."

Since hanging up his cleats from the MLB in 2016, A-Rod has made a name for himself and his multi-venture conglomerate, as he is now enjoying life as a successful businessman.
