Harper's top 10 college fits were as follows:
- Tennessee Volunteers
- Texas Longhorns
- Mississippi State Bulldogs

- UCLA Bruins
- Penn State Nittany Lions
- Minnesota Golden Gophers

The 2024 College World Series was won by the Tennessee Volunteers as they defeated the Texas A&M Aggies 2-1 in the three-game series.
Bryce Harper, who attended Las Vegas High School, left after his sophomore year to play college baseball for the College of Southern Nevada. He won the Golden Spikes Award (awarded to the best amateur player annually) in 2010, following which he was drafted first overall in the 2010 MLB draft by the Washington Nationals.
Bryce Harper clears the last hurdle in return to majors, expected to play on Tuesday
On Sunday, ahead of the game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Atlanta Braves, first baseman Bryce Harper was spotted running the bases at Truist Park at 100%.
According to reporter Todd Zolecki, Phillies manager Rob Thompson confirmed that Harper is "in play" to be activated from the injury list on Tuesday. If that's the case, Harper will be in the lineup to face the LA Dodgers at Citizens Bank Park.
Harper has been battling with a low-grade hamstring strain since June 27 but is making good progress and could return before the All-Star break. Earlier this week, the 31-year-old ran the bases at 70–75% intensity and did so again on Sunday at 100%.
Along with Harper, Kyle Schwarber could also return to the lineup by Tuesday.
If no further setbacks take place, Phillie will get a major boost with the addition of Harper and Schwarber when they go toe-to-toe against the NL West leaders in a three-game home series.
On the year, Harper is hitting .303, along with 20 home runs, four stolen bases and 58 RBIs.
