WATCH: Former Yankee Alex Rodriguez falls victim to daughters' hilarious prank
Former Yankees infielder Alex Rodriguez is in vacation mode, enjoying time along the Mediterranean coast alongside his daughters Natasha and Ella, mother Lourdes, girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro and his friends. The group set sail across the Amalfi Coast and Portofino in Italy, as well as Cannes, to celebrate the future HOFer's 49th birthday.
While spending quality time with his loved ones on a yacht, A-Rod fell victim to his daughters' hilarious pranks. Rodriguez shared the video on Instagram, with the caption:
"My daughters really got me with this, #givemethatmoney #prank"
In the video, A-Rod, one of his peers and his two daughters are recording an Instagram reel where they were seen reciting the line, 'Just give me my money,' as the others clap every time one sings the same.
The applause kept rolling fine for everyone except for when it was Rodriguez's turn. There was a stunned silence as he walked away, hiding his face, while the other three broke out into laughter.
Alex Rodriguez married his first wife, Cynthia Scurtis, a psychology graduate, in 2002. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter, Natasha Alexander, on Nov. 18, 2004. Scurtis gave birth to the duo's second child, Ella Rodriguez, in Miami, Florida, on April 21, 2008.
However, underlying tensions in the couple's relationship grew to the extent that Cynthia filed for divorce on July 7, 2008, and the couple parted ways. A-Rod hung up his cleats with the NY Yankees in 2016 and started pursuing a career in business with his firm, A-Rod Corp., which he had started in 1996.
To this day, Alex Rodriguez has transformed and diversified his company's holdings manifold since it started making investments in 2003. Despite his busy schedule, the former Yankees star slugger always finds time for his loved ones.
