Cleveland Guardians registered a win over the Cincinnati Reds in Tuesday's game at Great American Ball Park. Although there were many interesting moments in the game a particular one in the ninth inning stood out the most.
An excited fan ran onto the field during the game and did a backflip. Here is the video of the incident shared on X/Twitter:
The fan, wearing Reds icon and Hall of Famer Johnny Bench's jersey, can be seen running past Guardians outfielder Tyler Freeman in the video before running from one side of the stadium to the other. Even after security personnel approached him, the person executed a backflip and continued running.
However, just after taking a few steps, the excited fan fell to the ground after being tasered by security. Additional security personnel then arrived and apprehended him, escorting him off the field after handcuffing him.
Several people can be seen sitting on the stadium seats clapping and cheering as the security took the intruder off the outfield.
