WATCH: Jose Ramirez gets annoyed at teammate Brayan Rocchio for celebrating his home run in the dugout
During the Cleveland Guardians' 8-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, Jose Ramirez was at the forefront of the offensive explosion. The 31-year-old from Baní, Dominican Republic, launched a pair of home runs en route to yet another victory for the AL-leading Guardians.
It was a strong performance from Ramirez, one that many fans and teammates couldn't help but celebrate throughout the game. That being said, one of Ramirez's teammates may have taken it a bit too far.
A video emerged of the third baseman seemingly getting annoyed with Brayan Rocchio for tapping on his helmet as he walked through the dugout.
Ramirez quickly removed his helmet and gave Rocchio a nightmare-inducing stare. While it may have all been in good fun, it's difficult to tell if Ramirez was actually frustrated with Rocchio or simply playing the part.

While there is a chance that Ramirez was simply messing around with his younger teammate, the Guardians third baseman has never been one to shy away from conflict. Given his leadership role with the club and playful personality, Rocchio may have escaped any repercussions for annoying Ramirez.
Jose Ramirez and the Cleveland Guardians have been enjoying an incredible season so far and look poised to make a deep postseason run. The Guardians are the current leaders in the American League with an impressive 64-42 record.
One of the reasons for the team's success has been the dominant season from Ramirez, who will likely find himself in AL MVP conversations. New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge is the current frontrunner for the award, however, it's tough to deny the impact that Ramirez has had this season.

Although Ramirez may have been joking around with Brayan Rocchio, the same cannot be said for his face-off with former Chicago White Sox All-Star Tim Anderson.
Last season, during a showdown between the Guardians and White Sox, a sliding play at second base led to Anderson and Ramirez squaring up in the infielder.
After sizing each other up, Ramirez and Anderson began shoving and throwing punches, with the Guardians star landing the definitive blow.
Anderson was struck with a solid hook from Ramirez, winding up on his back on the ground. While it's unlikely that Jose Ramirez would do the same to his own teammate, Brayan Rocchio may want to proceed with caution.
