WATCH: Juan Soto scores epic inside-the-park home run as Rays fall apart at Yankee Stadium

Juan Soto continues to amaze New York Yankees fans and his top-notch performance continues after the All-Star break. The Yanks made a great start in Game 1 against the Tampa Bay Rays as Gerrit Cole held them to just one run after six innings.

Anthony Volpe had a bases-clearing double to extend the lead to 4-0. However, Soto's inside-the-park home run was seemingly the highlight of the game. During the bottom of the fourth inning, Soto smashed one deep to left field against Zach Eflin. While it missed a few feet from being a home run, an error by Randy Arozarena's loopy relay throw followed by Jose Caballero's error had Soto make the home plate.

Soto was expected to stop at second base but took a dash to third when he noticed that Arozarena was a little slow to throw the ball. Fortunately for Soto, the throw from Caballero hit his back and went into the Rays dugout. Soto, who initially missed the third base, came back to it and was on his way to score.

Juan Soto continues to boost the Yankees offense

Juan Soto has been the bright spot for the Yankees since his debut in pinstripes. The slugger has continued to boost the team's offense with his astonishing performance.

Soto got on base more than once against the Rays as Eflin struggled to retire him. Soto improved his batting average to .301 and his OPS to .995. He holds an OBP of .430 with 66 RBIs and 23 home runs in 345 appearances at the plate.

The Bronx Bombers have won several games with the help of Soto. Meanwhile, reigning AL Cy Young winner Gerrit Cole seems to be getting back to his usual self after a rough start since his return to the mound.

The Yankees ace conceded just one run in six innings while striking out eight on Friday to keep the Bronx Bombers with a comfortable lead. Yankees captain Aaron Judge also had a productive night at the plate as the Bronx Bombers resurrected their form with a fourth win in five games.
