LeBron James and Steph Curry turned the Game 4 contest into a one-on-one show for a brief stretch. The two leaders of their respective teams had to dig into their bags, with the game being a close affair. A lot was at stake for both teams.

The Lakers wanted to continue limiting the Warriors from having homecourt advantage this series and maintain a 3-1 lead. Meanwhile, for the Dubs, a 1-3 deficit would potentially end their season.

LeBron James' Lakers take commanding 3-1 series lead over Steph Curry's Warriors

LeBron James and Co. beat the Golden State Warriors 104-101 in Game 4 of their conference semis to take a commanding 3-1 lead. It was a neck-and-neck game, especially in the second half. Both teams put together runs leading to multiple lead changes down the stretch. Neither team led by four or more points in the final frame.

Lonnie Walker rose to the occasion for the Lakers, scoring all his 15 points in the fourth quarter alone. LA wouldn't have won the game if not for his efforts offensively. Meanwhile, the Lakers' defense also deserves some credit, as they held the Dubs to only 17 fourth-quarter points.

Anthony Davis came up with a huge defensive possession on Steph Curry in the clutch after he switched onto the Warriors star in a one-on-one situation. Davis contested a midrange jumper with 26.7 seconds left and the Warriors down by one. Draymond Green secured the offensive board on that miss and tipped it to Curry, who attempted a long-range attempt over Davis and missed it.
