WATCH: Luis Arraez recaps World Series correspondent moments featuring Freddie Freeman, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Derek Jeter, Teoscar Hernandez & more

During the World Series, San Diego Padres slugger Luis Arraez worked as a correspondent for the league on social media. He gave fans a sneak peek of what was going on behind the scenes of the Fall Classic.

Arraez shared his interactions with some of the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers players as they were taking batting practice. He also shared an interaction with Derek Jeter, who was working the game for FOX.

Arraez met up with Jazz Chisholm Jr, Freddie Freeman, Jason Heyward, and multiple others for Game 3 of the World Series. He also interviewed a handful of Latin players on the field.

However, he was not the only player the league picked to be a World Series correspondent. Oakland Athletics slugger Brent Rooker also joined Arraez on the diamond with a microphone in hand for Game 3.


Luis Arraez hopes to be busy next season when the league looks for their next WS correspondents

Luis Arraez and the San Diego Padres had a successful season. They made the postseason, defeating the Atlanta Braves in the Wild Card and advancing to the NLDS.

However, they would have a tough time against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS. They lost the series 4-2 which ended their season.

San Diego has a few free agents they could lose this winter but will return with their star core. They also are always a team to watch during free agency, with their willingness to spend.

Arraez is hopeful that he would be too busy playing in the World Series next season to help the social media team. The San Diego Padres have the talent to be legitimate contenders next year; they just have to stay healthy throughout the season.
