WATCH: Mookie Betts catches fried chicken with Golden Glove in hilarious new promo video
LA Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts is using his baseball talent to help promote fried chicken from PF Chang's, as seen in a recent video on Instagram. The All-Star outfielder and NL Gold Glove Award winner answered the call when PF Chang's needed some help.
Betts encourages fans to "catch the golden feast before it is too late," noting that he "already did." The short clip shows the World Series champion catching some fried chicken in his golden glove.
Betts and PF Chang's shared the video online, along with the caption:
"This holiday season deserves to be celebrated with golden gloves and golden feasts! ๐๐ Iโm excited to partner with @pfchangs to bring you Asian Fried Chicken & Bubbles as the star of your celebrations. ๐ฅ Available for a limited time only. #GoldenFeast #PFChangsPartner #MookieBetts"
Betts then shared the video to his IG stories on Wednesday, in case anyone missed it.
Betts is a spokesperson for PF Chang's and the two sides were able to work together to come up with a clever promotion. Betts has been nothing short of sensational since joining the Dodgers and helped lead the team to a World Series in 2024. Since the Dodgers are going to be returning many of their core players, more championships could be on the way.
Mookie Betts gets praise from Giants ace
While Mookie Betts is normally making headlines, other players have dominated MLB news over the last few weeks with the free agency period heating up. Juan Soto and Kyle Tucker are two of the biggest names that have been moved, and they are outstanding hitters.
Meanwhile, Betts has been catching praise (as well as chicken) from San Francisco Giants ace Logan Webb. Webb spoke on "The Chris Rose Rotation" this week and maintained that Mookie Betts is the best hitter in the league:
"Mookie Betts is the best hitter. For me, he's probably the hardest guy (to face). I hate to admit that he knows it tooโhe said it in one of his podcasts." (31:33)
Betts is going to have plenty of time to showcase his talent on the field during the 2025 season, but in the meantime, he is sponsoring PF Chang's.
