Watch: Nick Castellanos runs to his son Liam to celebrate his walk-off win for Phillies in NLDS Game 2

Nick Castellanos and the Philadelphia Phillies are coming off an unforgettable game at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies were trailing the New York Mets in the NLDS by a margin of 1-0, but Castellanos changed things for the team with just one swing.

Despite Philadelphia having a two-run lead in the ninth inning, Mark Vientos tied it for the Mets at the top of the frame with a two-run blast. However, Castellanos stepped in to rescue his team in a walk-off fashion. The veteran slugger smashed a base hit to left field that sent Trea Turner home, giving his team a 7-6 win to take Game 2 of the NLDS.

After his game-saving hit, Castellanos was seen running straight to his son Liam to celebrate his unforgettable moment. Liam, who always sits in the front row, was seen jumping for joy as his father ran up to him.

Here's a look at the unforgettable moment between Nick Castellanos and his son Liam.

Nick Castellanos praises the New York Mets

Nick Castellanos is a classy and confident player, but he also recognizes his opponents for their incredible talent. Castellanos praised the Mets for their talent and top performance in a post-game interview.

"Well, obviously going into New York one and one is a lot better than one-two. But now that being said, this series is far from over. They're a really good team over there and they are playing together, they're playing as a unit they have been through adversity before so game three and four in New York is going to be challenging, but I now all of us a looking forward to it," Nick Castellanos said.

It's not the first time Castellanos has walked it off for the Phillies this season. The right fielder has done it more than once for his team. Castellanos further said that it was fun to play with the Phillies chasing a common goal.

"It's a lot of fun, especially when we are all playing together and we are running after a common goal as a group in this clubhouse, unselfish baseball is the most fun baseball you can play," Castellanos continued.

The Phillies will face the Mets in Game 3 at Citi Field. Aaron Nola is predicted to go up against Sean Manaea.
