Paul Skenes' girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, was at Globe Life Field to cheer on her beau at the 2024 MLB All-Star Game. Skenes was announced as the starter of the game for the National League side.

During one moment in the game, when Skenes was facing an intense battle against Juan Soto, Dunne cheered for the Pittsburgh Pirates rookie while sitting in the stands.

"LET'S GO PAUL!" Livvy said.

After much deliberation the other day on what to wear for the game, Olivia Dunne went with a National League jersey, with a black custom vest having "Skenes" written on it and also complemented the outfit with white Cowboys boots to embrace the Texas culture.

Paul Skenes went unscathed in the first innings. After retiring Steven Kwan and Gunnar Henderson in order, Skenes went deep with Juan Soto and ultimately walked him, setting up the much anticipated duel with Yankees captain Aaron Judge. However, the battle soon got over when Judge grounded out the ball to end the innings without any damage.

After making their way through the red carpet, Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes partake in the interview, where Dunne praised Skenes' pitching abilities.

"My brain can't even process how hard he throws. It is incredible and it's such a joy to watch and he's a great baseball player, but an even better person," Dunne said.

Despite efforts from Skenes and Shohei Ohtani from the front, the NL side ended up losing the game 5-3. Boston Red Sox's Jarren Duran won the Ted Williams MVP in his maiden All-Star game as he hit a go-ahead two-run homer that was enough for the AL side to win the game.
