The MLB All-Star Game is set to take place on Tuesday night featuring the league's most talented players, yet it is rookie Paul Skenes who has garnered the most discussion. The Pittsburgh Pirates sensation is in the middle of one of the most impressive rookie seasons and, as a result, has been named the National League starting pitcher.
While fans, experts, and colleagues cannot wait to see what the Pirates superstar will do during his All-Star debut, the 22-year-old made a major impact before stepping onto the field.
Paul Skenes and his girlfriend Olivia Dunne turned heads on the All-Star red carpet as the young power couple arrived at the event.

Skenes rocked a stylish white suit with a black tie and sunglasses, while Dunne sported a stunning silver backless dress. They proved yet again why many have dubbed them as the MLB's answer to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
The stylish young couple continues to thrive in the modern, social media era as the duo combines for nearly six million followers on Instagram. The majority of those followers belong to Dunne, and having her present at the MLB All-Star Game will help bring eyes to the sport who may not normally tune in.
Dunne will be watching closely as her partner makes his All-Star Game debut in Arlington, Texas.
Paul Skenes may find himself at the center of an epic showdown with Aaron Judge
Following the announcement that Paul Skenes would be the National League starter, excitement quickly emerged for a potential showdown with New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge.
"Aaron Judge talks about potentially facing Paul Skenes tonight, with Juan Soto's guarantee that it'll happen (Judge is batting cleanup) "Going up against one of the best young pitchers in the game right now against a stacked AL lineup. It's gonna be some fun" - @snyyankees
It remains to be seen how many innings Arizona Diamondbacks and National League manager Torey Lovullo will give Skenes. However, Aaron Judge is slated to bat fourth for the American League. If the Pirates star surrenders a hit or issues a walk, the showdown could come as soon as the first inning.
Even Aaron Judge's teammate Juan Soto hopes to see the battle between the pair take place. Soto told the MLB's Lauren Gardner that he would do his best to get on base in the first inning to give Aaron Judge the opportunity to face Paul Skenes.
