WATCH: Trea Turner crushes pair of homers in World Baseball Classic semifinal against Team Cuba

Team USA shortstop Trea Turner smacked his third and fourth home runs of the 2023 World Baseball Classic in Sunday night's semifinal against Team Cuba.

In the bottom of the second inning, Turner took Cuba reliever Roenis Elias deep on a 428-foot shot to left field to give the USA a 3-1 lead.

Then in the bottom of the sixth, Turner went yard again, launched a 396-foot blast to left center off of reliever Elian Leyva to plate Will Smith and Jeff McNeil to put the USA up 12-2.

Turner, who hit a grand slam to propel the USA to a quarterfinal victory against previously undefeated Team Venezuela in Saturday's quarterfinal, is hitting .389 so far in the tournament.

The home runs gave Turner 10 RBI and five runs scored in this year's World Baseball Classic. He has played in five of the USA's six tournament games.
