WATCH: Trevor Bauer launches pitching academy to coach aspiring MLB draft hopefuls elevate their game

While Trevor Bauer has not given up on the idea of playing in the MLB once again, he's ready to help aspiring athletes when it comes to pitching the hardest. A former major league pitcher himself, Bauer, was known to pitch at a high velocity. Now he wants to share his knowledge through his "4Out Pitching Academy."

On Sunday, Bauer used his social media reach to announce this endeavor. He said there's no better way to add 5 mph to your velocity than his academy, where the individual will get trained and learn tips from him and trainer Tim Naiman.

"Mechanics, throwing programs, strength, mobility, nutrition. All you have to do is put in the work," Bauer said in the video. "Plus, get 24X7 direct access to us to ask any questions and learn the methods that have helped over 50 pro pitchers and hundreds more college and high school players.
"We're only accepting five athletes right now, and these spots will be filled by the end of the day, so if you're interested, comment below, and I'll DM you the link to sign up."

Trevor Bauer defeats several odds to bring championship to Diablos Rojos del Mexico

In his first Mexican League season, playing for Diablos Rojos del Mexico, the former Dodgers pitcher helped the team claim the championship this season. Trevor Bauer, who extended his contract from five games to a season-long one after no interest from a major league team, received enormous praise from his agent, Rachel Luba.

"Seeing @baueroutage both overcome a terrifying illness and partial paralysis, as well as manage to dominate this season at the most difficult ballpark in the world to pitch in was truly something remarkable. But seeing him fall in love with baseball again after it broke his heart in so many ways—was truly something special," Luba wrote in a celebratory post on Instagram.
