"We cried, we drank wine" - Josh Hader's wife Maria & Alex Bregman's better half Reagan indulge in food, drink & tears during movie night

Josh Hader's wife, Maria, and Alex Bregman's wife, Reagan, enjoyed each other's company on Wednesday night. The duo caught up over a movie at the Star Cinema Grill.

Maria and Reagan saw 'It Ends With Us', a romance drama that just came out in theaters. According to Maria, they also indulged in wine, popcorn and M&Ms while shedding some tears.

"We cried, we drank wine, we ate all the M&Ms & popcorn. 10/10" - said Maria.

Maria gave the movie a perfect rating. The same would later be echoed by Reagan on her Instagram story.

"Alright, I just got back from 'It Ends With Us' and that movie is so good. I cannot recommend it enough, if you haven't gone and seen it" - said Reagan.

The two had a wonderful night wiping away tears and indulging in sweets. That was far from the stressful day their husbands had on Wednesday.

While Josh Hader and Alex Bregman's wives had a relaxing day, the same could not be said for the two men. They had a battle with the Tampa Bay Rays that had to be decided in extra innings.

Ronel Blanco got the start for Houston, going six innings and giving up zero runs on two hits while striking out four batters. He kept the Astros in the ball game, but could not get any run support.

Houston did not get on the board until the fifth inning when Jeremy Pena hit a solo shot off Zack Littell. That put them up one but it did not last long.

Yandy Diaz hit into a fielder's choice in the eighth inning, scoring Austin Walls and trying the game. Neither team would score a run in the ninth, sending the game to extra innings.

Mauricio Dubon would come up clutch for Houston in extra, hitting an RBI single that put them ahead. Up 2-1, it came down to Hader to close out the game, and he did just that.

Hader had a perfect inning to close out the game and give Houston their 65th win on the year. They now hold a 65-55 record, which gives them a three-game lead over the Seattle Mariners in the American League West.
