While finishing second in MVP is exciting, Witt has much more to be excited about. The young slugger is set to get married on Saturday, December 14.

"All smiles over here! It's finally wedding week!" photographer Britney Tarno wrote in an Instagram post featuring an image of Bobby Witt Jr. and his high school sweetheart, Maggie Black.

It is safe to say Maggie is more than happy to see it is her wedding week. She has been anticipating this moment since the couple announced their engagement last year during Christmas weekend.

Kansas City Royals star Bobby Witt Jr. put plenty of thought into this wedding. It is a moment that he will only get to live once, and he wanted to make sure he put his own stamp on it.

While handing out groomsmen invitations, the 2024 All-Star took it one step further. He handed out personalized PSA-graded Topps baseball cards to his best men.

Given the popularity of card collecting, this act went viral. Many were more than impressed with the idea, and it could be something that catches on in the future. All it took was Witt's agent reaching out to Topps to get the ball rolling on this.

MJ Melendez, Vinnie Pascquantino, Nick Pratto, and Kyle Isbel all received groomsmen invitations. Expect all four of his teammates to be in the building later this week in Dallas.
