"Weird way for Blake Snell to tell me he hates me" - Haeley Ryane reveals Dodgers ace's unconventional Christmas decor with a playful jab
With another long and grueling baseball season now done and dusted, it appears Blake Snell and his family are enjoying the downtime in each other's company and getting into the festive spirit with Christmas fast approaching. On Monday, Snell's partner, Haeley Ryane, took to Instagram to post a video to her story, as she took a playful dig at her boyfriend's Christmas decorations of choice.
"weird way for Blake to tell me he hates me" Haeley Ryane captioned her Instagram story.
Looking at the video, it appears the ace's talents on the mound do not match his skills of decorating a Christmas tree. Looking at Haeley's caption, it's safe to say she is not too impressed with Snell's 'minimalist' approach.
Their Christmas tree has three weird brown decors hanging on it, while their fireplace has what looks to be bone-shaped stockings hanging over it.
This Christmas will be particularly special for Blake and Haeley as it will be their first with son Kaedyn, who was born in June of 2024.
Blake Snell and Haeley Ryane enjoy first offseason with son, Kaedyn
After welcoming their son, Kaedyn, into the world only a few months ago in June, it appears Blake Snell and his partner Haeley Ryane are fully enjoying their first offseason as parents. Haeley took to Instagram in November to share a series of adorable snaps featuring her partner and young son.
"our first off-season together 🤍" Haeley Ryane captioned her Instagram post.
On the field, Snell had a strong season with the San Francisco Giants, finishing the campaign with a 5-3 win/loss record and a 3.12 ERA, striking out 145 batters in the process.
The 32-year-old also achieved a perfect game shortly after the All-Star break, as he threw the first-ever no-hitter of his big league career on August 2, in a 3-0 win over the Cincinnati Reds. However, despite Blake Snell's best efforts, the Giants missed out on a playoff spot.
Having opted out of his contract after the end of the season, instead preferring to test the waters of free agency, Snell's gamble has seemingly paid off, having agreed to a five-year, $182 million contract with reigning World Series champions the Los Angeles Dodgers.
For now, the ace can take his mind away from matters related to baseball, focusing instead on spending plenty of time with his loved ones. The focus shifts back to baseball in the new year, with spring training set to begin in February, as Blake Snell looks to hit the ground running for his new team.
