Alex Rodriguez takes part in viral Olympics trend going viral on internet since the start of Summer Games

New trends going viral with relevant events has become the norm on social media. One of the most viral trends related to the Summer Games was "Sad to announce, unfortunately, I was not part of the Olympics."

In this trend, users need to announce an Olympic event they lack, followed by evidence of it.

Many social media celebs, like Olivia Dunne, who is not part of the Olympics, have participated in this trend. With A-Rod in Paris, he too got involved with the trend.

The sport where he didn't qualify was basketball, as he shared a throwback basketball clip of him shooting from beyond the arc and completely missing the shot. However, he made his next shot.

"Sad to announce, unfortunately, I was not selected for the 2024 Olympics Team, " he wrote in the video.

Moreover, he hilariously hinted at trying to make the team at the 2028 LA Olympics.
