There are a lot of prospects for fans to be excited about in this year's draft. There are certainly players in this class who have the talent to turn around an organization's fortunes.

Last year, the Pittsburgh Pirates selected LSU's Paul Skene with the No. 1 pick. This year, the Cleveland Guardians hold the top pick, followed by the Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies, Oakland Athletics and Chicago White Sox. The Kansas City Royals, St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Angels, Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Nationals round out the top 10 picks.

While Cleveland won the draft lottery, they also hold the highest bonus pool among Major League teams ($18,334,000). This means that the Guardians can use that and offer more money to their later selections.

However, they are not the only team with a solid amount of money to play with. The Rockies have $17,243,400 of bonus pool money while the Reds have $15,842,100.

For those wondering what players to look out for during this year's draft, Travis Bazzana, Charlie Condon and Jac Caglianone are the prospects expected to be selected as the top three picks.
