Who are the managers for the MLB All-Star Game 2024? A closer look into the coaching staff, umpires, and more

The 2024 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday night will feature some of the best players from the league participating in this exciting event. This season, the All-Star Game will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The AL and NL rosters look promising on both sides, with every player entering this game after a successful first half of the season.

MLB All-Star 2024 AL coaching staff

Texas Rangers manager Bruce Bochy will lead the American League into the 2024 All-Star game. Bochy has a great reputation, and winning an All-Star game will surely be a highlight of his career. The 69-year-old has chosen Orioles star Corbin Burnes to start in this game.

Oakland Athletics manager Mark Kotsay will be a part of the AL coaching staff alongside Bochy. Some of the other trainers joining the squad will be Matt Lucero, Brian Ebel and Ryan Stoneberg.

MLB All-Star 2024 NL coaching staff

Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo will lead the National League this year. Lovullo has invited Cincinnati Reds manager David Bell to join his crew. This will be the first All-Star Game for Bell in his career. Bell and Lovullo were teammates for the Cleveland Indians in the past.

Luvullo will not be the only one from the Diamondbacks, as Ryan DiPanfilo will also join the squad. Brendan Verner of the Miami Marlins and Tony Leo of the Pittsburgh Pirates will also be on the training staff.

MLB All-Star 2024 umpiring crew

James Hoye will lead the umpiring squad as the crew chief for the All-Star Game. Hoye is a reputed umpire with 16 years of experience in Major League Baseball. Hoye will serve his second All-Star Game this year, his last one being in 2015. He has also appeared in two World Series, four division series and four league championship series.

Alongside Hoye, first base umpire Bruce Dreckman will be on the list. John Tumpane will be the second base umpire, while Nic Lentz will take third base. Nestor Ceja will take the right field and Ben May will be on the left. Rob Drake will be in the replay operations center.

The 2024 MLB All-Star Game is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched live on Fox TV. The online stream can be caught on Fubo TV.
