"Wine was very needed" - Freddie Freeman's wife Chelsea talks about realities of dining out solo with three kids

Freddie Freeman and the Los Angeles Dodgers are powering through the 2024 MLB season, and going by their 32-17 record, they're doing it in style. The schedule, though, is packed with games and sometimes spending time with the family can be tough for players and their families.

That was on display on Sunday, as Freeman's wife, Chelsea, took to her Instagram stories to provide an insight into her evening. Chelsea took their three sons, Charlie, Brandon and Maximus, to dinner by herself. She captioned an image from the outing:

Sunday saw the Dodgers record another win, as they squeezed past the Cincinnati Reds 3-2 in 10 innings. Freddie Freeman recorded a run in four at-bats during the win at the Dodger Stadium.

Mother's Day caps off a busy period for Chelsea and Freddie Freeman

Aside from the MLB season, Chelsea and Freddie Freeman have been busy. Earlier this month, the Freemans attended Dodgers teammate Will Smith's Comedy Show, which saw actor and comedian Will Ferrell entertain the audience.

Both the Freemans shared a post of the evening at the Orpheum Theater on IG, which they captioned:

"Best date night with @catchinghopefoundation."

Multiple Dodgers teammates were also in attendance, including outfielder Jason Heyward, shortstop Miguel Rojas and versatile superstar Mookie Betts. The event was for Smith's 'Catching Hope Foundation,' and was a part of the 'Netflix is a Joke Festival.'

Just over a week ago, we saw Mother's Day, and Chelsea Freeman took to IG to share some heartwarming photos of her and her family, which she captioned:

"Luckiest Mama in the 🌎 #happymothersday."

Since then, the LA Dodgers have been powering through and have overcome a bit of inconsistent form.

They top the NL West and have won three in a row, going 6-4 in their last 10. The franchise will look to Monday's game against the 22-25 Arizona Diamondbacks, which is the first of a three-game series.

With the Diamondbacks fourth in the West, LA will be confident of taking at least two games from the series, and it will be interesting to see if they can.
