"Wondering who's my competition" - Cody Bellinger's wife Chase teases Rangers star Corey Seager posing with his women's 'fan club'
Texas Rangers star Corey Seager was all smiles following his team's win on Thursday to sweep the Chicago White Sox. Following the win the Rangers shortstop posed for pictures with his fans at Globe Life Field.
The two-time World Series MVP posed with his wife Madisyn Seager along with several female fans after the hard-fought contest on Thursday night. Madisyn Seager shared the pic via her Instagram handle, captioning:
"The CS5 fan club showed up strong today."
Corey Seager's former Los Angeles Dodgers teammate Cody Bellinger's wife Chase teased Madisyn and the Rangers star with a playful comment on the post.
"I'm wondering who's my competition," Chase commented implying she's the biggest female fan of the two-time World Series winner.
Corey Seager and Cody Bellinger have shared a strong friendship since their time playing together for the Dodgers. Despite both players moving onto different MLB teams, they keep in touch with each other and the same goes for their wives who often hangout together amidst the busy MLB season.
Earlier this year in February the group went on a funfilled double date at a golfing event while Cody Bellinger was chased by teams in MLB free agency in the offseason.
Corey Seager's purple patch continues in Rangers's narrow loss
Corey Seager has been on a decent run since his return from injury earlier this month. He got his fifth All-Star nod of his career after replacing the injured Carlos Correa for the Midsummer Classic in Arlington, Texas on July 16.
The All-Star slugger has been on a tear since the All-Star break. He racked four hits, including a home run against the White Sox in the series opener on Wednesday. His performance helped the defending World Series winners ro their fourth straight win.
Corey Seager registered his seventh hit in three games after driving in a run over two hits on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays. However, it went in vain as the Blue Jays edged out the Rangers 6-5 to complete a come-from-behind victory in the series opener.
