"You have made me new, now life begins with you" - Jackson Holliday's wife Chloe pens adorable poem for husband, receives warm response
Baltimore Orioles' promising talent Jackson Holliday had a strong rookie season in 2024. Despite struggling in his first time playing at the highest level, which led to him being sent back down to Triple-A level for a brief period, the 20-year-old has shown a marked improvement in his game since he was recalled to the big league squad in late July.
As Holliday fought tooth and nail to eventually establish a place on Brandon Hyde's team, his wife, Chloe, was often spotted at the ballpark as she cheered for her husband. Having known each other since school, the pair share a precious bond, which was demonstrated by Chloe Holliday as she took to Instagram to pen an adorable poem for her husband on Wednesday.
"It’s Your grace so free, washes over me You have made me new now life begins with You it’s Your endless love, pouring down on us You have made me new now life begins with You"
The rookie shared the post on his Instagram story with a warm comment.
As Jackson Holliday went on to be drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the first round of the 2022 MLB Draft, Chloe was there to celebrate the achievement with him. Eventually, the pair announced their engagement in December of 2022 and proceeded to tie the knot in January of 2024.
Wife Chloe posts heartfelt message for Jackson Holliday after Orioles' 2024 season comes to an end
Though there is still much to improve on, the second half of the 2024 season was huge for Holliday's development as a player. Turning into one of the Orioles' hottest lower order hitters at one point, after the tough start that Holliday endured to start, it will be a great confidence booster heading into the upcoming season.
Following the end of the Orioles' campaign, Jackson Holliday's better half took to Instagram to post a heartfelt message for the rookie.
"WHAT a szn & wild ride this year! Love being by your side always! Thank you Lord for another szn with my guy, cheering you on forever🧡🧡🧡" Chloe Holliday wrote
Though the young side showed promise throughout the year, the campaign ultimately ended on a disappointing note. The O's lost out to the Yankees for the AL East title and looked devoid of inspiration in their wildcard playoff series against the Kansas City Royals, crashing out of the postseason with only one run scored across two games.
Fans will be hoping Jackson Holliday and the rest of the Baltimore Orioles' young crop can come back in 2025 well-rested and motivated to deliver on their huge potential.
